The Two-Hour Setup Secret
The difference between a frazzled host and a glowing one is setup time, and it's the thing living-room showers never have enough of. A typical booking here runs five hours: two to set the brunch table, hang the balloon garland, and style the gift and dessert tables — then three for the shower itself, games and gift-opening included, with no one's furniture to move back afterward.

Weekday evenings at $150 per hour suit after-work showers and keep costs lowest — a five-hour booking runs $750. Sundays at $1,250 give you the full day, which hosts prefer for larger guest lists, elaborate setups, or when out-of-town family is coming. Saturday mornings can also work when the day isn't booked for a wedding.
